Situated on one of the last undeveloped parcels in the Soho Historic District, UAL combined talents with renowned architects Gwathmey Siegel & Associates to create an unprecedented fusion of city and solitude. Reminiscent of the neighborhood's cast iron past, Soho Mews was commended by the New York City Department of Landmarks Preservation as an intelligent, contemporary interpretation of the historic district's vernacular architecture. Going back even further to New York's agrarian roots, the building incorporates a private interior garden, the first of its kind in Soho.
